Position Details
- Position: Security Officer (Level 3)
- Directorate: Support Services
- Salary: R155,148.00 per annum (excluding benefits)
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 6-11 months of relevant experience.
- Certification: Security certificate Grade C, registered with PSIRA with a valid certificate.
- Skills:
- Computer literacy.
- Experience with CCTV in a control room.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Preferences: Preference will be given to EPWP trainees and administrative interns who have served or are serving the Department.
Duties
- Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control the movement of patients and visitors.
- Security Management: Manage hospital security aids and ensure the safety of the facility.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergencies and security threats.
- Shift Work: Be willing to work shifts and handle pressure effectively.
