Job Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire lifecycle of multiple engineering projects. Key responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Management:
- Oversee project scope, budget, and timelines from initiation to completion.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks and develop effective risk management strategies.
- Ensure projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Procurement and Resource Management:
- Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection and material acquisition.
- Ensure efficient allocation of project resources, personnel, and materials.
Client Engagement and Communication:
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients, providing timely updates on project milestones.
- Address client queries and concerns promptly.
Project Handover and Support:
- Oversee the seamless handover of completed projects to clients.
- Provide after-service support as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale engineering projects.
- Industry experience in the mining, industrial, or energy sectors is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of EPCM/EPCS methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
Compliance Knowledge:
- Familiarity with South African regulations and global best practices in construction and engineering.
