Job Purpose

The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service to both current and prospective customers. This role involves selling automotive aftermarket parts through various platforms, such as over-the-counter, online, or any other channel. The Sales Representative will assist customers in understanding the company’s products, identify suitable solutions for their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction. The primary goal is to generate sales, secure renewals, and meet sales budgets as set by management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Provide outstanding customer service by understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed the sales budgets and targets set by management.
  • Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders through various platforms (over-the-counter, online, and others).
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of automotive aftermarket parts and stay updated on new product offerings.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Provide timely feedback and sales reports to management as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Customer Care, Marketing, or a related field, OR relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automotive aftermarket external parts sales within Customer Care/Sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the automotive industry is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with catalog systems and knowledge of parts identification.
  • Licensing: Must hold a valid and current driver’s license.
  • Systems: Familiarity with multiple systems relevant to sales and customer service processes.
