Position: Armed Response Personnel
As an Armed Response Personnel, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients and their assets by responding swiftly and effectively to security incidents. With your expertise and vigilance, you will help maintain peace of mind and provide reassurance to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and distress calls to provide immediate assistance and ensure the safety and security of our clients.
- Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas to detect and deter criminal activity, maintain a visible presence, and identify potential security threats.
- Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in the environment and take proactive measures to prevent security breaches and mitigate risks.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, dispatchers, and law enforcement agencies to coordinate responses and ensure seamless operations.
- Firearm Handling: Demonstrate proficiency in handling firearms and adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as you will be required to operate a vehicle during patrols and emergency responses.
- PSIRA Grade C Certification: Hold a valid PSIRA Grade C certification, demonstrating your competency in security operations.
- Firearm Competency: Have a valid firearm competency certificate, indicating your proficiency in handling firearms in accordance with legal requirements.
- Local Candidates Preferred: Only candidates residing in Vanderbijlpark and the local area will be considered for this position, as immediate availability and familiarity with the area are essential.
