Programme Overview
The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier, in partnership with the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA), is offering the Work Integrated Learning Programme for 2024. This programme is designed to provide unemployed learners with hands-on work experience in various skills across Provincial Departments and Municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal.
Duration: 3 – 12 months
Closing Date for Applications: June 14, 2024
Available Positions and Fields of Study
- National Diploma in Public Administration: Reference No. PADWNIL (30 positions)
- Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning: Reference No. URPLNV1U24 (50 positions)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: Must be a resident of KwaZulu-Natal.
- Employment Status: Must be unemployed and have no prior participation in a Work Integrated Learning Programme from any government department.
- Educational Registration: Must be registered with a recognized Institution of Higher Learning (attach a signed and certified letter from the institution requesting WIL).
- Academic Completion: Must have successfully completed the institutional requirements to enroll in the WIL Programme.
